Yesterday, 10/10, was a very auspicious and celebratory day. No, I am not just talking about it being remembered as the national holiday of the Republic of China’s 105th birthday, (although it is memorialized as the day that the Qing Dynasty was overthrown in 1911); I went to my doctor for my three-month follow-up post my last Chemotherapy session and was given a clean report for now!! I had blood tests and CT scans of my chest and belly. The preliminary report is that I was cleared of any new pathology.
This marks one year post my initial diagnosis. Dr. Picozzi was congratulatory, but warned of continued vigilance because in many ways year two is a more important time frame. Thus I continue requests for encouragement, support and prayers; I also wish to express my gratitude to all of you who have been keeping me close in your thoughts for the past year.
I am feeling well, gaining strength, energy and appetite daily.
My sincere Thank You to All.
